It's Gigi's 7th day in the hospital and she's doing well. No change in her condition since Wednesday, so we're still just waiting and passing the time. The doctor came by this morning and confirmed that it is extrememly unlikely that Gigi will be let home with the babies still inside her.
We had a nice day Saturday. Gigi's sister Genna and her Mam Linda came to visit in the early afternoon, followed closely by the newly weds Bernie and Peggy. Everyone had a few good stories to tell. Gigi and Genna sampled another milkshake from the Palo Alto Creamery and Grill, just to make sure that they were really good and the one on Thursday was no fluke. I stayed in the hospital last night, Gigi's new room has a bed for spouses which is nice.
Clara is still with her cousins in Pleasant Hill. Apparently she slept in until 10am on Saturday morning, beating her home record by around 2.5 hours and a mere 4 hours longer than her average morning rise. I'm just about to go up to Pleasant Hill to collect her. Then we'll head over to the hospital and play some games and read some books with Gigi.

So Bryan,
This is what you're doing with your "spare" time. And we thought you were cleaning out the garage!!! ;) We're so glad to hear that Gigi is stable and "settling in." Hoping to get there to visit this week. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers . . . At the end of Ryan's "Now I lay me down to sleep," routine at night, he always includes Clara and Gigi on the "God Bless" request list. We'll get you in there once in a while too Bryan. ;) Hang in guys!
