We just spoke with the lead surgeon, Dr. Sylvester. He said everything went exactly to plan, it was a very successful surgery.
The tumor was in his right lower pelvic area, behind/under the ureter and attached to the sacrum. It was about 3cm by 1cm.
We'll be able to see Tighe in about 20 minutes. They are in the process of waking him up.
Relief :-)
I'll update later today on how he's doing and what we can expect from here.
